Carrying A Heaviness
From the outside, I was thriving. On the inside, I was burned out, hollow, and spiritually disconnected.
Everything shifted the night my ancestors appeared, reminding me that if I didn’t carry this lineage forward, it would be lost. That calling was undeniable. It led me back to my truth, back to my gifts, and into this work.
Now, I guide leaders, visionaries, and creators who are tired of carrying the illusion of having it all together.
My work isn’t about giving you another strategy. You are well beyond that.

As a child, I was raised in a Buddhist monastery, immersed in compassion, stillness, and ancient spiritual traditions.
I also come from a long line of Chinese shamans and healers, and my ancestors carried medicine, channeling, and wisdom that still moves through me today.
And yet, I abandoned those gifts for 25 years to build a career in corporate America.
I worked with and advised Fortune 100 companies, built startups, and played the role of the strategist who had it all together.
For decades I lived the very challenge I now help others navigate: successful on the outside, empty on the inside.

Raised in a Buddhist monastery as a young child and classically trained in an unbroken spiritual lineage, alongside 25 years advising Fortune 100 companies on organizations, strategy, and how teams work, Sonya understands the human being as deeply as she understands business.
She knows burnout and grief from the inside, and she knows how they play out inside an organization. From the outside she was thriving—advising the world's biggest companies, holding it all together—while privately she was burned out and nearly spent. Finding her way back is why she does this work now, and why she can sit with a person or a leadership team in the hardest season without flinching or rushing them through it.
Much of her work is private by nature.
